Redeemer Community Church in San Francisco
Founding members of Redeemer Community Church
Redeemer Community Church was born on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 2002. On that day, thirty-three adults and their children were sent from Grace Fellowship Community Church to start Redeemer in San Francisco. The vision for this new congregation emerged from a conviction that God has blessed us greatly and wants us to be a blessing to the city of San Francisco and beyond.

While at Grace Fellowship Community Church, the founding members of Redeemer witnessed God's gracious work within that congregation as we sought to express God's heart in San Francisco, the neighborhoods where we lived and worked, and around the world. Following the lead of our sending congregation, Redeemer seeks to be a church family with a sense of mission that is nourished through worship.
