Advent, Christmas Eve & Epiphany!
Here is an Advent Guide with explanations as well as resources as we wait in hope for the coming Christ.
Dates to note:
Wed 12/17 ~ Last Midweek Advent Service - 7pm
Childcare provided for 5th grade and younger children. Doors open at 6pm if people want to bring dinner and eat together.Sun 12/21 ~ Christmas Eve Play Rehearsal - 12:30
The children get to lead us in worship on Christmas Eve through a play. There will be a rehearsal for all children and participating youth on 12/21, 12:30pm-2:30pm. Lunch will be provided.Wed 12/24 ~ Christmas Eve Service - 7pm
Our special children-led Christmas Eve service will be followed by a dessert potluck (nut-free). Plan to bring a family favorite to our celebration.Sun 12/28 ~ No Worship Service
We will not be gathering formally on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year. If you would like to organize something like an informal hike or potluck, please contact pastors@redeemersf.org.Sun 1/4 ~ Epiphany Celebration
On Epiphany Sunday, January 4th, we remember the arrival of the Magi to worship the newborn King. We will follow our service with a potluck feast. Start thinking about what you’ll bring!

Alternative Gifts 2025
Each year Redeemer offers an opportunity to give "alternative gifts" to friends and family, pledging donations to partner ministries and organizations in their name, so to speak. Here is the pledge form with the list ministries to choose from. Complete the Google form or paper form (give to Roy) by Sunday, January 4, 2026 (or submit before 12/31 for tax purposes). Cards for each ministry will be available soon to gift to your recipients.
Childcare Sign Up Jan-Mar
You are invited to sign up to serve in childcare over the next three months (Jan-Mar 2026)! We ask that families with kids in childcare volunteer at least once a month, and we also invite all adults and youth to consider serving as a practice of intergenerational friendship and mutual formation. If you have questions about serving in childcare, please reach out to Karen Lu (kl.karenlu@gmail.com).
