From God's heart. For God's world.

God loves God's world, and we believe we're called to enter that multi-dimensional love as a reconciled community living out the way of the cross. We live into and announce the reign of the humble King.

The following convictions from Redeemer's Vision Statement do not convey all that we believe, but they are core to who we are and express what we have come to hold dear:

We believe that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead brings into being God’s new creation. On the cross Jesus Christ defeated the powers of sin and death. By the grace of God, the new creation will increase until its fulfillment when Christ comes in final victory.

We believe that God is able and willing to save. Through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and the renewing work of the Holy Spirit, sins are forgiven, people are made new, and the glory of God’s image in humanity is perfected.

We believe that this new humanity in Christ can be seen in the church today. The church is the people of God—a particular people formed by the Word of God and blessed by God to be a blessing to others. Through the life of the church, all get a taste of what God intends and are welcomed to become part of God’s people.
