Jesus teaches that we are to love others and bear one another’s burdens. Many individuals, families, and organizations with whom we are connected are experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we want to come alongside them with practical care. We are setting up a fund to provide one-time monetary gifts of up to $1,500 for individuals or families and $2,500 for organizations. These gifts are to help with basic needs such as housing, food, clothing, and medicine/medical treatments. Any regularly-participating Redeemer congregant can nominate someone they and/or the church are connected with that needs some help at this time. Please email the request to Paul and say whom you are nominating, why you are nominating them, and your/our connection to them. Provide as many details as you can about their financial need. Paul, Ed, is being formed to review requests and make funding decisions.
